We are committed to protecting the privacy of our students, parents, faculty, and administration.

We collect only the necessary information required for school administration, academic communication, and portal access:

• Account Credentials: Usernames, passwords, and assigned user roles (Student, Parent, Faculty, Administrator).
• Personal & Student Details: Name, class/standard, roll number, attendance records, academic marks, and fee payment details.
• Contact Information: Parent/guardian phone numbers and email addresses for school alerts and notifications.
• Media & Documents: Photos and documents uploaded voluntarily for Transfer Certificate (TC) requests, student profile updates, or enquiry forms.
• Device Identifiers: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens used strictly for delivering push notifications regarding announcements, fee alerts, and attendance updates.

3. Data Encryption & Security

Security is our priority. All user data transmitted between our mobile application/web portal and our backend servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS (TLS/SSL encryption). Access to personal records is strictly restricted to authorized school personnel.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely for legitimate educational and administrative purposes:

• Providing access to student progress reports, attendance, and exam details.
• Processing school fee payments and issuing official donation receipts.
• Sending instant push notifications for urgent school notices and announcements.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties or advertising networks.

5. Account & Data Deletion Request (Google Play Policy)

Users (students, parents, or staff) have the right to request the deletion of their app account and associated personal data at any time.

How to Submit an Account Deletion Request

You can request account and data deletion using any of the following channels:

• Email Request: Send an email to hmchidambarapublicschool@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Include your registered Username, Student Name, and Phone Number.
• In-Person / Phone: Contact the school administrative office at +91 9481092117 or visit the campus during office hours.

Data Retention & Deletion Process

Upon receiving your request, your account access will be disabled within 48 hours. Associated personal records and login credentials will be permanently removed from active databases within 30 days, except records required to be retained by educational regulatory mandates under applicable law.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app and web portal are designed for school communication and student progress monitoring under parent and institutional supervision. We comply with Google Play Families Policy requirements and do not collect data for commercial profiling.
